Here is the location of the registry key for the documents folder

Find key named “My Documents”

Have you also changed the corresponding alphanumeric strings?

You also have to do this for the “Personal” entry

Thanks for your help Shane, I fiddled around and found that I only needed to change the affected ‘My Pictures’ and its corresponding alphanumeric string to my preferred location (in this case D:Pictures) to fix the problem.

Do it for all of them and also the “Alphanumeric” string
