Uninstalling Windows updates worked in resolving the issue which occurred directly after updates. Steam also wouldn’t launch and had the dll error. Uninstalled Steam, rebooted, then uninstalled the Windows updates (there was one security update that had no “uninstall” option but two that did along with the general update), rebooted and did NOT get the error. Reinstalled Steam and everything seems to be working great. Thanks for the info!

Try to uninstall it completely and then reinstall it on your computer. If that doesn’t work, uninstall the latest update and try again.

I am having this issue on my laptop and it seems nothing I do works. I have tried sfc scan now. Tried to restore. Tried to reformat. It all comes back with errors. It has gotten to the point where I don’t even have internet. It’s like it disabled or corrupted the drivers to everything. I am trying again to delete the security update and hope that it works. Are there any more tips or hope for me
