This solved my problem. A very helpful article.

Try this:
“Press “Windows” + “X” and select “Apps and Features” click on “Programs and Features” and select “Turn Windows’ Features on or off”.
Check .NET Framework and click on “OK”.”

i have copied sxs folder to my C drive and its still showing this error
