Try to restore your PC to before that action because if you had done the “Scan for hardware changes” method it wouldve automatically reinstalled them. Try to do it now if it doesn’t fix anything, go for the restore.

After you deleted the driver, did you do the “Scan for hardware changes” to reinstall it?

Unfortunately, MSI does not list out the BisonCam driver on its website. The hardware was OK. I played around with the drivers and took some ill advice to delete the driver and resintall without actually checking if the driver is available. There are not drivers available when I googled for the Win 10 64 bit , all bogus results are shown with software dating back to 2009.

First of all, make sure that it isn’t a hardware issue. After that, find out the exact make of your motherboard and install the latest drivers from the manufacturers’ website. Also, you can google your laptop to look for the hardware used and then install the drivers for the camera manually after finding out its make and model.

My device manager shows no camera and there are definitely no drivers installed on my MSI GV series laptop. No cameras show up in “Add legacy hardware” menu either. Where do I find the BisonCam driver for my MSI laptop? Any fix would be very highly appreciated

Hi Kevin,
I have Dell Inspiron 15 7000 7548 laptop with integrated webcam installed. All of a sudden after changing the battery webcam stopped working. When I click on camera app it says hardware not found. In device manager under imaging device it was initially showing integrated web cam. I uninstalled it & now I can’t see anything including imaging device. I do not know which web camera does my laptop have I am using windows 10. I tried all sort of options of restoring the windows, flashing BIOs& updating the chipset drivers but none of them works. Please help.
