thanks for this it worked, appreciated …but interestingly i have 3 others users who didn’t need this, dont have the key and are working on the same RDG server , today it just stopped working until I put this reg key in…would love to know why this happened.

I have another workaround:
put your Gateway IP address in the client’s hosts file. that’s it. this way you won’t disable UDP functionality.
I have no idea why host file works but regular DNS resolution does not, but hosts file does the trick.
