Windows 10 just sucks, added glitter with zero benefits. nothing more than fancy menus. Everything operates slower, Thumbnails painfully slow, I can not think of one value added feature in windows 10.

I use it only for turbotax on a nice laptop and even the menus in TT are sloooow. And this laptop has nothing else installed on it.

don’t clear you appdata folder. That usually contains save data for games, for example Minecraft saves are stored in your appdata.

Boot the computer in safe mode and check if it helps. Also, Check your harddisk, it might be causing the lag
