All this did for me was COMPLETELY REMOVE the enhancements tab. Also I’m looking for MIC ENHANCEMENTS not speaker. Is there no solution to this???

Like many on here, I’ve been searching for ages for the “enhancement” features that easily showed up on my older computers. I agree with Tracy Jones about having to continuously look up one oddball problem at a time trying to resolve what shouldn’t be a problem in the first place. A computer should have adequate sound, what’s so hard for Microsoft to get about that? This isn’t some obscure element that only a very few users will need, it’s fundamental to a computer’s usefulness to 100% of users unless they are hearing-impaired, of course.

Microsofts one is much much better than realtek’s, however my audio keeps crackling every few seconds. Sometimes it doesn’t happen, sometimes it will randomly start and it’s so annoying. Can I not get a useable sound experience? This hasn’t happened until recently.

If you have a Realtek Driver. Do Method 2. When you get to the part where you select “High definition audio device”, if your computer is like mine, I had 2 Realtek drivers in there. I picked the Older one and I got mine back. Just reopen the Realtek Audio Console, select speakers and you should be able to change all your equalizer settings
Um, I do not see Realtek High Definition Audio, all I see is Realtek Audio
and it didn’t do anything
There was a registry key fix I found on the internet, to enable the audio enhancements tab. For some reason this is not working for me now, and I can’t locate the source, as I either did not bookmark the site, or the site bookmark is lost in my ocean of bookmarks.
Here is what I have, any solution for what exact registry keys bring back the enhancements tab?

I actually had to go back to the Realtek driver cuz this slowed me down so much. Audio isn’t as good, but the lag was untenable, so here we are.
